Anti-money laundering (AML) refers to all policies and pieces of legislation that force financial institutions to monitor their clients to prevent money laundering. AML laws require that financial institutions report any financial crime they detect to relevant regulators. The objective of anti-money laundering (AML) is to deter criminals from feeding their illicit funds into the financial system. Criminals do money laundering to hide the true source of their money that has been derived from crimes.
This AML eLearning course offers a comprehensive overview of anti-money laundering legislation. It will familiarize employees with the process of money laundering and the laws that make it a crime so that they can confidently recognize the red flags associated with criminal activity and combat the risks of non-compliance. The course is designed to raise awareness and empower employees to make the right decisions in the fight against money laundering.
